Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square

The Staff was extremely pleasant and professional. The only "downside" was that the floor we were on smelled intensely of bleach when we arrived and housekeeping were still actively working despite it being "check in" time; the following morning (we only stayed overnight), housekeeping was in the hallway, waiting, when we went to breakfast at 9AM (check out was 11AM). The housekeepers were sitting at the end of the hall, carts blocking half the hallway - it made for feeling that the sooner we left, the better.

Check in was a disaster. Drag racing until 2am right outside of our window. Couldn’t sleep. Felt unsafe. Staff is not accommodating. Horrible customer service. Worst Marriott stay ever!

Farm style was unique The room looked amazing the setup was amazing, and the bathroom was beautiful. I love the farm style door opening closing.

Andrea & Hal were amazing and made my check in experience wonderful. The young lady who checked me out was also friendly, professional & helpful!

Most of the staff was pleasant, surrounding area or that beyond one block area is unsafe. Plough restaurant was great and the parking structure made it easy to come and go. You should consider having valet service

Still stays at this place. From the outside it looks like an amazing place to stay given the location but trust me the rooms are pathetic. Can you believe me the toilet bowl is stained as though someone hasn’t flushed for years after use. Shower pressure is at 20PSI. You will have to stand under something that feels like a trickle of water. Shower doors have water leaking out on the floor, the door handles are falling apart. The magnified mirror light doesn’t turn on. The couch has a huge stain on it as though someone bleached it and left that spot discoloured. I had called them few weeks earlier reconfirming with them for a Conner room at the west tower on the higher floor and they did the opposite and gave me a corner room on the east tower on the 3rd floor right next to bar which had a party going all night - loud music until 2 am. I expressed my concern to the front desk person “Julia” and she said Oh sorry. We don’t have any rooms to accommodate your request. I asked her what’s the point of calling and reconfirming weeks ahead of time when neither of you’ll care for customer centric service. She just smiled and walked away. This place is not worth the money or the experience. The staff really doesn’t care about their guest. They do treat their guest different, based on colour.
